Attorney General Barr: What Obama Admin Did To Trump With ‘Russian Collusion’ Actions Is ‘Unprecedented’

Part1:

Attorney General William Barr told reporters on Monday that the actions taken by Obama-era officials in federal law enforcement and in the Intelligence Community against President Donald Trump were “unprecedented in American history” and represented a “grave injustice.”

“I’ve commented since I have been attorney general and even during my confirmation hearings that over the past few decades, there have been increasing attempts to use the criminal justice system as a political weapon,” Barr said. “And as long as I’m attorney general, the criminal justice system will not be used for partisan political ends.”

“And what happened to the president and I’ve said this many times, what happened to the president in the 2016 election and throughout the first two years of his administration was abhorrent,” Barr continued. “It was a grave injustice and it was unprecedented in American history. The law enforcement and intelligence apparatus of this country were involved in advancing a false and utterly baseless Russian collusion narrative against the president.”

“The proper investigative and prosecutive standards of the department of justice were abused, in my view, in order to reach a particular result,” Barr continued. “We saw two different standards of justice emerge, one that applied to President Trump and his associates and the other that applied to everybody else. We can’t allow this ever to happen again. The Durham investigation is trying to get to the bottom of what happened, and it will determine whether there were any federal laws broken. And if there were, those who broke the laws will be held to account.”

Part 2:

Attorney General Barr: What Obama Admin Did To Trump With ‘Russian Collusion’ Actions Is ‘Unprecedented’

ATTORNEY GENERAL WILLIAM BARR: I think as you know, I’ve commented since I have been attorney general and even during my confirmation hearings that over the past few decades, there have been increasing attempts to use the criminal justice system as a political weapon. The legal tactic has been to gin up allegations of criminality by one’s political opponents based on the flimsiest of legal theories. This is not a good development. This is not good for our political life, and it’s not good for the criminal justice system. And as long as I’m attorney general, the criminal justice system will not be used for partisan political ends. And this is especially true for the upcoming elections and in November.

We live in a very divided country right now, and I think that it is critical that we have an election where the American people are allowed to make a decision, a choice between President Trump and Vice President Biden based on a robust debate of policy issues. And we cannot allow this process to be hijacked by efforts to drum up criminal investigations of either candidate. And I’m committed that this election will be conducted without this kind of interference. Any effort to pursue an investigation of either candidate has to be approved by me. And what happened to the president and I’ve said this many times, what happened to the president in the 2016 election and throughout the first two years of his administration was abhorrent. It was a grave injustice and it was unprecedented in American history. The law enforcement and intelligence apparatus of this country were involved in advancing a false and utterly baseless Russian collusion narrative against the president.

The proper investigative and prosecutive standards of the department of justice were abused, in my view, in order to reach a particular result. We saw two different standards of justice emerge, one that applied to President Trump and his associates and the other that applied to everybody else. We can’t allow this ever to happen again. The Durham investigation is trying to get to the bottom of what happened, and it will determine whether there were any federal laws broken. And if there were, those who broke the laws will be held to account. But this cannot be and it will not be a tit for tat exercise. We are not going to lower the standards just to achieve a result. The only way to stop this vicious cycle, the only way to break away from a dual system of justice is to make sure that we scrupulously apply a single and proper standard of justice for everybody.

Now under the longstanding standards of the department, criminal charges are appropriate only when we have enough evidence to prove each element of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. That is the standard we’re applying. Now I have a general idea of how Mr. Durham’s investigation is going and as I have indicated, some aspects of the matter are being examined as potential crimes. But we have to bear in mind what the Supreme Court recently reminded us of in the bridge gate case. The court said there, there’s a difference between an abuse of power and a federal crime. Not every abuse of power, no matter how outrageous, is necessarily a federal crime. Now as to President Obama and Vice President Biden, whatever their level of involvement, based on the information I have today, I don’t expect Mr. Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man. Our concern over potential criminality is focused on others. Thanks for your question, Pete. The next question.

White House Physician Memo Concludes Hydroxychloroquine Has ‘Potential Benefit’

resident Donald Trump’s physician on Monday noted that he concluded with the president that hydroxychloroquine has a “potential benefit” against coronavirus.

“After numerous discussions, he and I had regarding the evidence for and against the use of hydroxychloroquine, we concluded the potential benefit from treatment outweighed the relative risks,” Commander Sean Conley, DO, USN wrote in a memo released by the White House.

Trump revealed to reporters on Monday afternoon that he had been taking the drug for about a week and a half.

“I’m taking the two, the zinc and the hydroxy, and all I can tell you is, so far I seem to be ok,” he said.

Conley noted that Trump continued to be in “very good health” and “symptom-free” of coronavirus and that his tests were all negative, but did not confirm that the president was taking it.

He added that he would continue to consult and monitor studies regarding hydroxychloroquine and other therapies.

“I anticipate employing the same shared medical decision-making based on the evidence at hand in the future,” he concluded.

Sen. Graham Announces Potential Witnesses And Senate Judiciary Vote On Crossfire Hurricane Hearings

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham announced Monday evening that his committee would debate and vote on a subpoena authorization related to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance abuse investigation, as well as conduct oversight of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane probe into President Donald Trump’s campaign.

Graham, R-SC, said the subpoena authorization covers “a number of documents, communications and testimony from witnesses, including James Comey, Andrew McCabe, James Clapper, John Brennan, Sally Yates, and others.” He also stated in a press release that the subpoena authorization will be the first listed on the agenda for the committee on May 21.

Some of the most notable witnesses that may be subpoenaed are Attorney General William Barr, former FBI General Counsel James Baker, Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, former United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power, as well as FBI Director Christopher Wray. These are only a handful of the long list published by Graham’s office on Monday.

The Committee is expected to vote on the subpoena authorization at its June 4, 2020 executive business meeting, the press release stated.

However, he noted that under the Senate Judiciary Committee rules, Graham “cannot unilaterally issue a subpoena. The Chairman can only issue a subpoena with the consent of the Ranking Member or by a Committee vote.”

The press release also noted that if the subpoena’s are “approved by a majority of the Committee, the subpoena authorization gives” Graham “the ability to issue a subpoena for witnesses, documents or other materials.”

“Subpoena authorization votes in the Senate Judiciary Committee are not common,” stated the press release.

If it passes here are the witnesses, documents and other materials covered by Graham’s subpoena authorization:

Documents and communications referenced in, and testimony at a hearing or deposition of any individual named or identified by pseudonym in, the report titled “Review of Four FISA Applications and Other Aspects of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane Investigation” issued by the U.S. Department of Justice Inspector General

Documents and communications related to, and the testimony at a hearing or deposition of any current or former executive branch official or employee involved in, the Crossfire Hurricane investigation (including investigations opened under the Crossfire Hurricane umbrella) or the receipt or analysis of reports prepared by Christopher Steele (commonly referred to as the “Steele dossier”)

Documents, communications and testimony at a hearing or deposition related to any aforementioned matter from:

just think though of the internal docs of potential communications of law firm to elite clients regarding contracts negotiations, and most important if it exists……..

pushing ant-trump narrative/bias as a way to increase earnings (bribes?)

we all know stars are rewarded for being resistors.

this stance could be organic or it could be expressed, and who would express it, lawyers negotiating contracts of course.

evidence may exist in these docs that show people/corps. offering these elite entertainers contracts for services that include going against trump publically. it also may be a widespread pattern whereby the Big 6 entertainment companies are conspiring through law firms.

thats a lot of trillions.

even warren buffett stated debt is never intended to be repaid and if the debt is held in a nations own currency it is not as much of an issue as debt held in outside currencies.

the operative expense thus is interest on the national debt.

at 25 trillion national debt at .25% interest, a quarter of a point, we pay under 63 billion a year bet annually (as we refinance/rollover expiting debt this comes into effect)

so that debt expense is same as having 5 trillion in debt at 1.25% or 1 trillion in debt at 6%.

potus was masterful to get this, however we have inflation potential and if interest goes up or when we are in some trouble.

once you get this low you really cant go back up, so a reset of sort is inevitable, and proetctions need to be in place to prevent against bankrupting the country due to credit downgrades, etc. which can force debt up.
