Facebook enlisted several far left groups to ‘factcheck’ articles written by conservatives in an effort to prevent the real truth or a different point of view from being disseminated to the public.

On April 25, 2020, TGP reported on two California doctors of immunology and owners of a Bakersfield Urgent Care facility. The two doctors suggested only the sick and immuno-compromised individuals must be quarantined, not healthy people. The two doctors who see patients daily also suggested the virus has spread widely in their California community. This phenomena has also been reported in Boston, Miami, Santa Clara, Chicago and several European countries.

Doctors Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi said their facilities have tested over 5,200 patients for the coronavirus throughout the county, making up for over half of all testing in Kern. According to their data, the death rate of the coronavirus is similar in prevalence to the flu. Dr. Erickson and Dr. Massihi have extrapolated their numbers based on visits to their specific Urgent Care facility, not the general population and thus may have overestimated infection numbers, though underestimating mortality rates, in California.

The doctors also suggested that sheltering in place for the general public would limit microbial exposure and lead to weaker immune systems. Home environments, however, do in fact contain trillions of microbes.

Nearly a month after our reporting, a ‘factchecker’ by the name of Flora Teoh, who is not a medical doctor, claimed that the Bakersfield doctors were promoting false information. Flora Teoh concluded the US doctors were not telling the truth.

Hackers steal personal data of 9 million EasyJet customers in ‘highly sophisticated’ cyber attack

Criminals gained access to emails and travel history for around nine million customers of British budget airline EasyJet, obtaining the credit card details of more than 2,000 of them, the company has said.

“There is no evidence that any personal information of any nature has been misused,” the airline said, as cited by the media.

We are communicating with the approximately nine million customers whose travel details were accessed to advise them of protective steps to minimize any risk of potential phishing.

EasyJet said it had contacted forensic experts to investigate the hack. The airline also notified the Information Commissioner’s Office and the National Cyber Security Center.

EasyJet has apologized for the incident and said that it is currently contacting all “relevant customers directly,” and will notify everyone who was affected by the hack no later than May 26.

“It has become clear that, owing to Covid-19, there is heightened concern about personal data being used for online scams,” noted the airline’s CEO Johan Lundgren.

Major airlines have experienced large-scale cyber-attacks in recent years. In 2018, criminals targeted British Airways’ website and their mobile app, stealing personal data and payment information of around 380,000 passengers. The same year, Delta Air Lines said that the financial data of their clients may have been compromised after a third-party chat service used by the airline was hit by malware.

An exclusive report at the Ohio Star claims that a whistleblower has come out who claims the crooked Obama Administration regularly spied on General Michael Flynn, President Trump’s former Campaign Manager Paul Manafort and the Trump family:

President Barack Obama’s Treasury Department regularly surveilled retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn’s financial records and transactions beginning in December 2015 and well into 2017, before, during and after when he served at the White House as President Donald Trump’s National Security Director, a former senior Treasury Department official, and veteran of the intelligence community, told the Star Newspapers.

The whistleblower claims:

The whistleblower said she only saw metadata, that is names and dates when the general’s financial records were accessed. “I never saw what they saw.”

By March 2016, the whistleblower said she and a colleague, who was detailed to Treasury from the intelligence community, became convinced that the surveillance of Flynn was not tied to legitimate criminal or national security concerns, but was straight-up political surveillance among other illegal activity occurring at Treasury.

“When I showed it to her, what she said, ‘Oh, sh%t!’ and I knew right then and there that I was right – this was some shady stuff,” the whistleblower said.

“It wasn’t just him,” the whistleblower said. “They were targeting other U.S. citizens, as well.”

Only two names are listed in the whistleblower’s official paperwork, so the others must remain sealed, she said. The second name is Paul J. Manafort Jr., the one-time chairman of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The other names include: Members of Congress, the most senior staffers on the 2016 Trump campaign and members of Trump’s family, she said.

The whistleblower reported the crimes to the Treasury Inspector General and she never heard back:

In March 2017, she filed a formal whistleblower complaint with Acting Treasury Inspector General Richard K. Delmar, who continues in that office today, she said. Beyond Delmar acknowledging receipt of the complaint, the inspector general never followed up on the matter.

This formal complaint was a follow-up to an August 2016 notification to Delmar that did not meet the full requirements of formal complaint, but it provided Delmar with the details of Treasury’s surveillance of Flynn, she said.

The whistleblower filed a subsequent complaint with the Office of Special Counsel May 2017, which is the permanent office established to work with whistleblowers and is not related to Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

This surveillance program was run out of Treasury’s Office of Intelligence Analysis, which was then under the leadership of S. Leslie Ireland. Ireland came to OIA in 2010 after a long tenure at the Central Intelligence Agency and a one-year stint as Obama’s daily in-person intelligence briefer.

Alan Dershowitz says the state has every right to ‘plunge a needle into your arm’ and forcibly vaccinate its citizens

Alan Dershowitz, liberal Democratic lawyer, civil liberties advocate, and Harvard Law School emeritus professor, says that the state has a "right" to "plunge a needle into your arm" in a forced vaccination scenario if necessary.

What are the details?

During a recent discussion with Jason Goodman, Dershowitz — who defended President Donald Trump during his Senate impeachment trial — said that the U.S. Constitution permits the government to forcibly vaccinate its citizens in an effort to stop the spread of contagion.

Goodman, who is host of web series "Crowdsource the Truth," asked Dershowitz where in the Constitution it says the government can forcibly vaccinate a person.

"Let me put it very clearly," Dershowitz said. "You have no constitutional right to endanger the public and spread the disease, even if you disagree. You have no right not to be vaccinated, you have no right not to wear a mask, you have no right to open up your business."

The famed law professor added that if the disease in question is not contagious — for example, cancer — a person can refuse treatment.

He continued, "[But] If you refuse to be vaccinated [for a contagious disease], the state has the power to literally take you to a doctor's office and plunge a needle into your arm."

"You have no right to refuse to be vaccinated against a contagious disease," Dershowitz added. "Public health, the police power of the Constitution, gives the state the power to compel that. And there are cases in the United States Supreme Court."

Hungary says it will defend its borders and keep border fence despite EU court ruling

The Hungarian Defense Ministry said both the armed forces and Hungarian government would do all they could to defend the country’s border and maintain its border fence despite a new ruling from the European Court of Justice that Hungary illegally detained asylum seekers in transit zones.

The statement from Hungary comes at a time when the vital Western Balkans route has seen a sharp increase in crossing from illegal migrants. Despite a sharp fall in April due to the border closures prompted by the coronavirus pandemic, illegal border crossings in the Western Balkans rose by 60 percent in the first four months of the year compared with the same period of 2019, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency Frontex said in its April migration update.

“There were fewer than 100 detections of illegal border crossings recorded on this route in April, down 94% from the previous month. However, in the first four months, the number of illegal border crossings increased by 60% from the same period of last year to nearly 6,000,” the Frontex report wrote.

Hungarian State Secretary of the Defense Ministry Szilárd Németh said on Sunday at the Röszke border crossing with Serbia that with the national lockdowns coming to an end, Hungary will again face increased pressure from illegal immigrants. He was speaking at the transit zone which served as the focus of the European Court of Justice (ECJ)’s ruling last week that Hungary illegally held asylum seekers there.

REPORT: ‘Twilight’ Actor Gregory Tyree Boyce And His Girlfriend Found Dead In Las Vegas Home

“Twilight” actor Gregory Tyree Boyce and his girlfriend Natalie Adepoju were reportedly found dead at a Las Vegas residence.

The Las Vegas Medical Examiners office confirmed their deaths on Monday to E! News. Boyce, who played Tyler Crowley in the series, and Adepoju were pronounced dead on May 13. The cause of death is unknown.

“Greg’s cousin woke up and noticed that Greg’s car was still at the house,” a source told the outlet. “He was worried because Greg was to be in LA. His cousin went to check on him and found them.”

The source claimed Boyce, 30, had been “really focused and handling a lot of business.” Boyce “would commute to LA for acting jobs and to see his daughter.”

“Greg was definitely a person who loved life and [was] super positive… super animated, really witty, he was the life of the party,” another source told E! “I will definitely miss him. He was one of my funniest friends in LA and made my experience there really memorable.”

Illegal Aliens Jam Phone Lines as California Offers $500 Each in Coronavirus Relief

The State of California is offering $500 each to illegal aliens as part of a $75 million coronavirus relief program — even as it asks federal taxpayers for help paying for its $54 billion deficit.

The program, which launched on Monday, saw phone lines jammed as “undocumented immigrants,” who are ineligible for the federal aid provided thus far, called a state hotline.

The New York Times reported:

Within minutes after the phone lines opened, many people reported they could not get through, and by 10 a.m., an hour after it opened, many of the phone lines crashed.

The $75 million cash assistance program, awarded on a first-come first-served basis, was being conducted almost entirely by telephone to avoid hazardous in-person contacts.

The available funding will allow only about 150,000 immigrants to benefit, according to state officials.

The governor, Gavin Newsom, announced in mid-April that the state would provide $75 million in cash assistance to the 150,000 who are selected. Philanthropic organizations and private donors pledged an additional $50 million, for another 100,000 immigrants.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom told CNN’s Jake Tapper on State of the Union on Sunday that the federal government has a “moral” and “ethical” obligation to fund ailing state and local governments. He added that Republicans who did not provide such funding would be short-changing “our heroes, our first responders, our police officers, and firefighters.”

Notably, Newsom discussed “citizens,” not “residents,” in describing the beneficiaries of federal aid to the states: “We have an obligation, a moral, an ethical obligation to American citizens all across this country to help support cities, states and counties,” he said.

Neither Newsom nor Tapper addressed the issue of California’s “sanctuary” laws, which limit cooperation with federal immigration law enforcement. President Donald Trump has commented that he might make lifting “sanctuary” laws a condition of receiving federal aid.

New Jersey Gov. Murphy: We ‘Cannot Firmly Enter the New Normal’ Without a Vaccine

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) on Monday stated the people of his state cannot “firmly enter the new normal” until a coronavirus vaccine is developed and available — something some experts warn may never come to fruition.

“Until a proven vaccine is widely available, we cannot firmly enter the ‘new normal,’ when life will once again return to all our workplaces, downtowns, and main streets,” Murphy said in a social media post:

Murphy outlined the multi-stage approach to slowly reopen the Garden State, stating the people of New Jersey have successfully flattened the curve of coronavirus cases and adding the state is now “well-positioned to continue our restart and recovery process.”

“Our multi-stage approach uses science, data, and facts to determine which businesses and activities can reopen according to their risk level and challenges they face to safeguard public health,” he said.

New Jersey remains in first stage, which relaxes restrictions on low-risk activities, such as outdoor activities including batting cages, golf driving ranges, shooting ranges, and horseback riding. All of those, per Executive Order 147, will be able to resume Friday, May 22 at 6:00 a.m. The first phase also allows some nonessential retail to reopen with modifications.

Stage two is a bit more aggressive, opening up “safeguarded restaurants with outdoor seating, limited personal care, and possibly indoor dining, museums, and libraries, all with significantly reduced capacity”:

Nevertheless, as Murphy’s social media update indicated, the governor does not believe New Jersey can firmly enter a “new normal” until a vaccine for the novel coronavirus is available.

While researchers are working on a vaccine for the virus, skeptics warn there is no guarantee that an effective vaccine will be developed, as no vaccine for other forms of coronavirus have ever been approved.

Murphy’s remark follows a similar view expressed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), who told Californians this month that they are also not going “back to normal” without a vaccine.

“We’re not going back to normal,” he said during a a May 5 press briefing. “It’s a new normal with adaptations and modifications, until we get to immunity and a vaccine.”

While President Trump has remained optimistic on the development of a vaccine, he sent a pointed message to the world during last week’s press conference in the Rose Garden.

“I just want to make something clear: it’s very important, vaccine or no vaccine, we’re back,” Trump said.

Italians Urge G20 Nations to Join Trump in Defunding W.H.O.

ROME — More than 200,000 Italians have signed a petition to cut all funding to the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) from G20 nations.

“We humbly ask you to join U.S. President Donald J. Trump to stop sending funds to the World Health Organization,” reads the CitizenGO petition, which is addressed to the heads of G20 nations.

The W.H.O. has demonstrated “that it supports and disseminates the false and incomplete information released by Communist China regarding the seriousness of COVID19” and “the W.H.O. internal decision-making and management processes are not subject to direct control by taxpayers,” the appeal states.

Moreover, the text continues, during the peak of the spread of Chinese coronavirus, W.H.O. has continued to use contributions paid with public funds for promoting abortion worldwide as a human right, supporting the legalization of prostitution, forcing doctors to perform sex reassignment surgery on children, and disseminating a curriculum for global sexuality standards that teaches masturbation to small children.

If President Trump goes through with his promise to halt U.S. funding to W.H.O., the organization will suffer the loss of $419 million, which accounts for 15 percent of its annual budget, the appeal notes.

Italy is currently the seventh largest national funder of the W.H.O., behind the USA, China, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, the appeal states.

“To compensate for the loss of funds from U.S. contributions, W.H.O. and its ideological allies are calling for an increase in voluntary donations from other countries. And the G20 countries are at the top of the list,” it reads.

“We don’t need a global ‘health’ organization that pumps billions out of our society every year to harm children,” it declares. “And President Trump’s plan to cut funding to the W.H.O. offers us a real opportunity to start seeing the end of their global agenda, that same agenda that does nothing but trample on human dignity and its true value.”

On Monday, President Trump warned the World Health Organization that it will permanently lose U.S. funding unless it commits to “major substantive improvements within the next 30 days.”

Trump cited the its role in “mismanaging and covering up” the global spread of the Wuhan coronavirus when he suspended U.S. funding of the U.N. subsidiary.

“They’re a puppet of China, they’re China-centric to put it nicer,” Trump said at the White House. “They gave us a lot of bad advice.”

Number of Foreign-Born Workers Hits Record High in Post Brexit Britain

In the three months leading up to the financial crisis caused by the Chinese coronavirus, the number of foreign-born workers in the United Kingdom reached a record high.

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the number of foreigners working in the country climbed to a record 5.9 million — more than the entire population of Scotland — with 2.5 million from European Union nations and an additional 3.4 million non-EU workers.

This represents a 50,000 increase during the period in which the United Kingdom left the European Union.

Alp Mehmet, Chairman of Migration Watch UK, said: “These data show that the number of workers born outside the UK hit a new peak of 5.9 million in the first quarter of 2020, with records set from both EU and non-EU countries.

“We have yet to see the impact of lockdown but this is hardly the time for an extraordinary new opening up of our labour market to the whole world, as the government’s proposed system would do.”

“The clear message of these figures is for the government to rethink their proposals in light of the risk of very sharply rising unemployment. Let us be ready to prioritise the interests of British workers, as the public wants,” Mehmet concluded.

School Apologises After 11-Year-Olds Told to Define Transgender, ‘Hardcore Pornography’ as Homework

A British school has apologised after asking children as young as 11 to define “inappropriate” sexual terms including “transgender pornography”, but insisted that the homework was in line with government “equality” guidelines.

Archbishop Sentamu Academy in Hull said it was sorry for any offence caused following outcry from parents angered by the exercise.

Assigned to pupils aged between 11 and 14 as part of their Personal, Social, and Health Education (PSHE) class, the work asked children to “define” terms including “drag queen”, “LGBTQ+”, “hardcore porn”, “homosexual”, and “transvestite”.

Mrs Taylor, who has children at the academy, said she was “fuming” over the task, explaining: “My daughter is still very much a child, we’ve still got magic elves, her bedroom is done in My Little Pony. She is very innocent and naive.

“She was only in primary school last year living her best life, now she is being asked to search for hardcore pornography,” she told local newspaper the Hull Daily Mail. The newspaper reported topics on the homework sheet included “pornography, soft pornography, hardcore pornography and transsexual pornography, as well as female genital mutilation, wet dreams, trafficking, male circumcision, breast ironing and more.”

Taylor continued: “She’s 11, she should be doing stranger danger, and don’t share your info online, but genital mutilation is another thing. It was asking about male circumcision, breast ironing… I don’t even know what that is myself.”

A mother of three, Mrs Taylor said that the work, which was assigned over the internet while schools remained closed due to the novel coronavirus, raises questions over the academy’s claim to be a religious school, adding: “I know there will be other parents out there saying they need awareness but an 11-year-old should not know about [the topics raised in the exercise], they do not need to know about it.”

After complaints from Mrs Taylor and other relatives of children at the school, principal Chay Bell said he was “genuinely sorry if parents or students have unnecessarily researched any of these phrases and for any offence caused”.

“I have asked that any future materials of this nature have a clear statement ensuring students and their parents are aware of any potentially sensitive content and will ensure all materials are fully age-appropriate.

“The PSHE materials that we share with students are produced in line with government guidance, the PSHE Association Programmes of Study and the Sex Education Forum’s definition of Sex Education. They also cover the Equality Act of 2010.

The Jamestown hospital got $121k in COVID-19 relief money. It's been closed almost a year.

The federal government gave more than $121 thousand in coronavirus relief money to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center, a hospital that has been closed since June 2019.

The Department of Health and Human Services says the hospital received $121,722 from its provider relief fund.

On Monday, there were no cars in the parking lot, no lights on and no doctors inside the facility. Faded signs posted on the doors since June 13, 2019 warned no patients would not be treated until it re-opened.

"It's not fair for them to direct money to a hospital that has currently no real ability to re-open and provide adequate and safe patient care," former Jamestown nurse Miah Elmore said.

As the Rennova-owned hospital cashes taxpayer dollars, WBIR found it owes more than $1.2 million in unpaid federal taxes.

"It's disgusting in a way," former Jamestown nurse Karen Cooper said. "There are hospitals and things that are seeing the COVID patients that could've utilized that money."

Cooper is part of a class-action lawsuit alleging Rennova did not pay Social Security or federal payroll taxes withheld from employee's paychecks.

Rennova appears to be in deep financial trouble at the other two hospitals it runs, the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida and the Jellico Community hospital in Campbell County.

It is behind on federal taxes for both locations, with records indicating IRS liens of more than $4.4 million.

Despite the back taxes, Rennova said in financial filings last week the federal government gave it $7.4 million in taxpayer money through the coronavirus relief fund.

It also received a payroll protection loan worth more than $2.3 million. In a financial filing, Rennova said, "While the Company currently believes that its use of the loan proceeds will meet the conditions for forgiveness of the loans, we cannot assure you that we will not take actions that could cause the Company to be ineligible for forgiveness of the loans, in whole or in part."

It also said it would be tardy filing the required quarterly SEC report, which it has neglected to file on time frequently in the past.

WBIR has reported extensively on issues at Rennova facility across East Tennessee.

Cooper said the money for the Jamestown hospital adds insult to injury; when it closed the facility, Rennova left Fentress county without a hospital.

"It's another slap in the face and there's nothing we can do about it," she said. "We just feel so frustrated."

WBIR reached out to the Department of Health and Human Services and did not receive a response.

WBIR also sent a list of questions to Rennova's spokesperson and CEO. The company has also not responded.

How Blind Faith In Scientific Expertise Wrecked The Economy

One British scientist, a severely flawed model, and a thousand braying imbeciles on social media ordering everyone to ‘have faith in science’ led to the next economic crisis.

Greta Thunberg, of all people, was asked to opine about coronavirus for a CNN panel in the latest episode of our bizarre purgatory. Everyone can imagine what she said: “People are starting to realize that we are actually depending on science and that we need to listen to scientists and experts.”

This is the perfect representation of the Twitter take artist: totally out of her element, with banal and worthless takes, but still trying to be provocative and relevant. In the late 1930s she would have reminded us there’s a global scientific consensus that intelligence can be measured by skull shape and different parts of brains have different emotional locators.

The phrase “settled science” is a classic oxymoron. There can never be science that is settled, and science cannot or should not be the only determinant of policy, especially on things related to the economic direction of the planet.

This is important due to two observable phenomena. One, this pandemic has highlighted how much of our public and social media are full of mindless drones. Two, it has highlighted just how much of our scientific consensus is flawed, and still worshipped as if it consists of matters of faith instead of evidence.

Consider the first one. One of the most important noticeable recent phenomena has been the mushrooming of take artists. They are not scientists, or qualified in matters of economics, history, strategy, or policy. They are random individuals whose sole purpose is to remind us that we should have faith in “science and data.”

Obviously, they don’t understand having “faith” in science is in itself a fallacy of scientism. Scientism is a faith in the idea that all social problems have only one answer, through the process of science. It is a fallacy because scientists are humans and have their own biases, as well as flawed methodologies, which is why science is constantly scrutinized and measured alongside historical and economic questions.

$500 billion Treasury fund meant for coronavirus relief has lent barely any money so far, oversight commission finds

Pesident Donald Trump on Monday intensified his push for businesses to reopen as quickly as possible, but companies and cities continued to wait for the disbursement of unspent bailout funds and remain unsure what to expect as rules and programs continue to shift.

Through tweets and a meeting with restaurant executives at the White House, Trump tried to create a new sense of urgency about jump-starting the economy, which has suffered huge losses the past several months during the coronavirus pandemic. He told restaurant executives at a White House meeting that he was open to giving businesses more flexibility in how they use taxpayer funds so they could delay rehiring workers as quickly as originally required.

But while the Treasury Department has rushed to implement some stimulus programs, such as sending $1,200 checks to 140 million households and mobilizing a small-business lending program, other congressionally approved assistance funds are off to a much slower start. The Congressional Oversight Commission, a new body, released a report on Monday, finding that the Treasury Department had spent little of a $500 billion fund that it created through the Cares Act in March to help businesses and local governments, even though many of these entities have asked for immediate help.

Senators are expected to press Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell about this during a hearing Tuesday morning.

"If it doesn't get out in a timely fashion, it's not going to achieve the goal behind its creation," said Sen. Patrick Toomey, R-Pa., a member of the new commission.

This tension was evident Monday, when the Dow Jones industrial average rallied 912 points, or 3.9%, on optimism that a vaccine could be within reach and that the economy is set for a rebound. But most of the recent economic data continues to show an economy facing extreme strains, particularly regarding unemployment and short-term growth.

In Tuesday's hearing, Powell plans to say that the nation is in the midst of an economic crisis "worse than any recession since World War II," according to prepared remarks, and that the central bank's "bold steps" have helped ensure that American families and businesses can borrow cheaply so they do not go bankrupt before the economy can safely reopen.

The $500 billion Treasury Fund created by the Cares Act is supposed to be used to help prop up large segments of the U.S. economy, including airlines, small- and mid-size businesses, larger corporations, and cities and states. The Congressional Oversight Commission was created by the Cares Act to oversee how that $500 billion fund is being used, and the group issued its first report Monday, though it still does not have a leader. That person must be appointed jointly by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
