You could do that. The post was more about actually producing article (maybe with graphics) and/or video to submit to established places, where people already read/view. When you make a superior product (in this case True news as opposed to Fake news), it will get more eyes, and that's what People want - the Truth.

The anon who I was responding to had a good way of looking at it - basically 4 components, and for each one I asked a question. A question that we (anons, and People who 'follow' but are not here) can answer! Sort of a structure for a daily effort at producing some factual content that can actually help us take over the fake news.

When people like your product more, they want more of it and less of the cheap, cheesy, fake stuff.

I don't mean to dissuade you from starting your own site, go for it.
