School Reform

Require all schools to teach core classes ONLY; no electives.

Full load of core classes - reading, math, writing, etc - could be taught in less than half a school day.

Half the kids come to school in morning; half the kids in afternoon.

PE, sports, art, music, etc could be done at home through parents expense, instead of all school parents having their tax dollars paying for some other kids sports stuff when their own kid doesnt even play.

Four hours of nothing but class and schoolwork leaves little time for shenanigans or bullying. Kids could be placed on opposite schedules to separate them if need be for conflict or bullying. bullying

This also gives bad teachers less time to abuse kids because they are too busy teaching. Gives bad teachers less time to stir drama among other teachers, which they seem to be prone to do.

Kids still get solid education, less time at school, more time with family, less bullying, less idle time and "busy work", which is truly half the day. Less waste of school supplies.

Working parents arrange for child care in the summer, why cant they do it for half a day?
