>You are living in a dream world if you think courts are fair.

I know anon

since 1895 the judges have no duty to inform the jury of their rights

<Sparf v. United States, 156 U.S. 51, or Sparf and Hansen v. United States,

and without knowing their rights as jurors they don't know that they have the right to judge the law as well as the facts in all cases

>Jury Nullification?.

that pejorative is used by lawyers

I'm glad it's in my state's constitution and has never been repealed

IT is the basis for the jury system

why do we have jurors?

to guard against tyrannical laws as well as to help judge crimes

common folk

get to judge the law and the crime

not just the facts and law as presented by the prosecutor and judge

keep yer mouth shut and vote as your conscious tells you

thus bad laws cannot be enforced

else… why have jury at all?

rubber stamp?
