Catholicanon here. So glad to see this get attention in the bread because I've been following this "movement" in the church for a while now. Francisco "Kiko" Arguello founded and is currently in charge of the Neocatechumenal Way - they're the ones behind world youth day. At this world youth day, Kiko will do what they call a "vocation call." This is when kids make a decision to go to their indoctrination camp and be sent back wherever they are commanded. It's the same process the moonies or your average multi level marketing company operates under. They send missionary families out to catholic churches everywhere to start new "small communities" within churches. Most of these families have five or more kids in tow. If anons care I can elaborate and post some of the resources I've found over the years.

Pell cited Kiko Argüello, co-initiator of the Neocatechumenal Way, for having noted how “a fundamental difference between God-fearers and secularists today is found in the approach to suffering."

Kiko has a lot of interesting friends.

This is the company every "small community" is required to buy expensive shit from in order to have their cult ceremonies. They need to buy original kiko artwork and stuff he's touched or blessed.
