Just came back from VA Hospital in Des Moines. They have medical staff at the door screening people which is ok and reasonable.

However, I as veteran was denied entrance as an assistant and caregiver to another, disabled vet. He needs assistance getting around the place in his wheelchair. I was forced to wait outside.

Explain to me how a VA medical facility can deny entrance to a veteran?
