Thought i would share a little bit of Canadian culture with the board while there is still some left.
When Canadian Armed Forces personnel pay the ultimate price abroad, they often return to CFB Trenton in Ontario by air. Followed by a 170km (105mi) funeral procession down the busiest freeway in the country to Toronto. All along the route Canadians camp out on overpasses to pay their respects to a fallen hero as they pass by. Embed related is a music video done by a Canadian band about the tradition dubbed The Highway of Heros.
