Speaking of mamas, there are ones that are way too smothering for boys to end up as hetero, robust, gentlemen… easily.
For example; boy has ADHD, yet is still high functioning. At a young age focus wasn't the problem, it was motivation. Once he got going, it was free wheelin'!
However, if he didn't have some semblance of a kickstart or a push, faggataboutit, he was doomed. Missed a lot of homework, yet I wouldn't say "he" was missing it all that much! kek not to mention, most of the time, being only 20% of the total grade, so if he kept everything else up to par, it's an easy C+.
The problem regarding the motherly smothering, is when she wasn't there, nor was anyone, and although a good looking teen, and quite bright, his mouth would just ramble away till the wee hours of the morn', while he pretended to voice act different characters/personas similar to MPD, without the D. It was only until they reunited in his early adult years, did she realize the lasting effects of not having her around during those crucial developmental years, that motherly advice with "hot babes" would've benefitted him, oh so much.
Instead, a constant babbling on in various, and sometimes hilarious honed accents and impressions, combined with Tourette's-esque Sound FX, is quite an experience to behold. Although, in front of the average girl next door, it's mayday-generators. So, in order to attempt mitigating the "issue," according to her, constantly scolding and bellowing at him to "SHUT UP," or "STOP TALKING," is somehow the best method established.
This may seem as if it truly is some sort of victimization, but no, it appears to have the reverse effect on him, so much so, that he finds solace in knowing that nothing can stop, who's talking, even if it's all emanating from his mouth.
