In a state w Mask orders, an older gentleman was standing in a store line yesterday. I walked up (I don't wear masks). He looked at me, and it was like he'd been given permission to take his mask off.
He pulled it right down and let it hang around his neck.
The cashier and bag boy kept me around talking for a few minutes. They got to learn more about their UFCW food workers union. And everyone leaving the store had to walk right by me and see clearly that masks aren't really required.
I've not received one complaint or dirty look for not wearing a mask. Though workers, older and younger, male and female, have been interested in the information I share.
