The hospital ship and Javits Center were for non-covid patients so that the hospitals were freed for covid patients, weren't they.
Reports of patient maltreatment came from nurses in the hospitals, and the one Dr. who killed herself was also a hospital doc.
So, to be cynical, did Cuomo realize that hospitals would spill the beans so he shipped patients into nursing homes that he had more control over? Can that case be made? Did Cuomo, as Governor, have more say over finances/regulations at nursing homes that he could use to shut them up?
