Can’t bring myself to watch. Yes, there are many bad people in these positions. Make sure your loved ones are safe. If you don’t have family there you can volunteer and be with them and simply listen to them…. We are moving soon and I’m actually looking at applying at a memory care residence because they need caring people.

Our seniors deserve better. :(

Anon, my dad takes niacin. It can have some interactions with drugs, so tread lightly. A naturopath or DO rather than an MD might be the trick for you. GL.

Any younger anons here at all interested in nursing/senior care; it’s not an easy job but there will always be a need for home-based care as the trend is inching toward having seniors stay in their homes or in their grown childrens’ homes with help, whether it be a few times a week or 24/7. It’s a job that won’t be going away.
