The older men of Jefferson's day did not hold back. Neither will the older men of this generation. WE weren't "the greatest generation" but the fighting men of that generation were our Dads and Uncles. We listened to them. Michelle Obama is not legally permitted to serve as President, so reason would indicate that she cannot also be VP (although there is a legal battle royale to be had there!). The reality is, it doesn't matter who is on the D ticket this year. The first year they have any real hope of winning is in 2024, when Mr. Trump is term limited out. OTOH … I think their odds of winning the top slot are very poor at any point in the remainder of the century.
