Start with 4g at night, backed with 2-3g morning and midday. Increase the midday and night doses until you get the runs, then back off to the last dose you could tolerate.
This is called "bowel tolerance" and is the most C your body will tolerate. More just leads to malnutrition and dehydration and a worn out asshole.
