Hey Q,

Or any lawfags for that matter;

Is there any legal course of action to take after being fired for not wearing a mask?

Our lovely governor made it a requirement, apparently as of today, and now they are canning people who refuse to comply.

That's the thing….the $$$ which is not something I have a big supply of. One reason they can get away with this tyrannical crap. People living paycheck to paycheck just do as they're told.

Do we have the right to refuse to wear a face mask??????

I mean, I know I can refuse at the expense of my job, but if the employer mandates it (non medical occupation) do I have the right to refuse?

It's not like there is a right about being forced to wear articles of clothing written into the Constitution….

So what happens when your employer requires you to get a note from a doctor stating you can't wear a mask? (True story)

And I don't even have a doctor.

I am hoping for a domino effect. I know there will be a couple others. I work with about 40 people and roughly 85%, I would say, will wear them.

It is a hill I think I am willing to die on. As far as I am concerned, if you consent to wearing a mask, you are inherently giving them permission to go a bit farther. Where does it end? What will people do when they tell you you can no longer work unless you get a vaccine?
