True freedom is doing what we really need to do which is to serve.

These lyrics can be interpreted many different ways. Maybe that's one of the reasons POTUS chose it.

It could mean what you think is a loss really isn't.
the act of reaching for that goal taught you more than what you would have gained by attaining it.
