A passenger plane reportedly crashed Friday in Pakistan near the southern port city of Karachi, killing all 107.
The plane belongs to state-run Pakistani International Airline, according to the Associated Press.
The aircraft was coming from the eastern city of Lahore with 99 passengers and eight crew members, said Abdul Sattar Kokhar, spokesman for the countryโs civil aviation authority, the wire service also reports.
Witnesses reportedly saw an Airbus A320 appear to try to make at least two landing attempts at the Jinnah International Airport before crashing in a nearby, impoverish residential area.
