'CommonSense Avenger goes over headlines on CNN.com. It's the CNN headlines he covers which are striking. The headlines appear biased. Bias - a particular tendency, trend, inclination, feeling, or opinion, especially one that is preconceived or unreasoned (dictionary.com, 2017). While Moore was still in the race, CNN was putting forth bad news about Moore and nothing bad about Jones. For example, they quote Moore's wife "We're no bigots, 'one of our attorneys is a Jew". Even though Moore's wife was trying to make a point, it didn't come out right. Then there is a simple one about Jones. "Jones urges Alabamians to get out and vote." A bad one for Moore, "The constitutional amendments Moore wanted to get rid of". Also, "What Nick Saban could do about Moore", indicating someone needs to do something about Moore (youtube.com, CommonSense Avenger, 12/12/17).
In the next column, CNN appears to attack President Trump and his people. "Warren details allegations against Trump", "Trump's #MeToo moment is here", "Analysis: Sarah Sanders made a hugely offensive allegation against the media", "Tapper responds to Sarah Sanders", "Diplomat blasts Tilerson in resignation letter", "GOP tinkers with Rubik's Cube of tax reform", and "Opinion: GOP tax bill is both mean and stupid" (youtube.com, CommonSense Avenger, 12/12/17).
The headline selection indicate that CNN does not attack Jones, but will attack Moore in several ways, including quoting his wife in bad light and indicating Moore wants to get rid of constitutional amendments.
The headlines indicate that CNN also negatively criticizes Trump, Sarah Sanders, GOP, Moore, and tax bill.
The headlines of news web sites might indicate their allegiance. A person with many news sources will have a better understanding of the entire story. A person with one news source might not get the whole story, because their news source may have allegiances. A person with a corrupt news source could be believing a false narrative.
The news should attack all people equally. They should praise people equally. Better yet, the news should not be attacking or praising. News should be telling people the truth. Unfortunately, CNN appears to be biased. This can be said of most news sources. Once the bias can be seen, it can be seperated from truth. The truth will not be all found in one place, so many places should be checked.'
'Lots of fake news being caught in a lie. Was President Trump's Florida Speech full of people or was empty as Washington Post David Weigel would have people believe?
"the Washington Post's David Weigel hopped on the Fake News bandwagon and tweeted a photo of an empty arena before a Trump rally in Florida - hours before the event started" (zerohedge.com, Durden, 12/9/2017).
Trump tweeted out.
".@DaveWeigel @WashingtonPost put out a phony photo of an empty arena hours before I arrived @ the venue, w/ thousands of people outside, on their way in. Real photos now shown as I spoke. Packed house, many people unable to get in. Demand apology & retraction from FAKE NEWS WaPo! (zerohedge.com, Durden, 12/9/2017).
David Weigel tweeted out, "Sure thing: I apologize. I deleted the photo after @dmartosko told me I'd gotten it wrong" (zerohedge.com, Durden, 12/9/2017).
@dmartosko is David Martosko. Martosko tweeted out to post; "I told you?" and "We haven't connected in at least a year, BTW."
It seems like Weigel's apologizes and statements and re-tweeted photos are worthless. He indicated an empty Trump speech, which was false. He said he apologizes after Martosko told him he'd gotten wrong. Martosko told Weigel, they haven't communicated in a year BTW, so Martosko did not tell Weigel anything. He presented a false reality that Trump's speech had few in attendance. He lied about Martosko's involvement. A person who can lie twice on twitter and post a misleading photo should not be trusted. David Weigel may not be a person people can trust and he works for the Washington Post.'
