Has it ever been questioned why Trump would need a backchannel (as if this is - LOL) when he could simply rack up very public results? To placate Trump supporters who believed in his campaign promises is a far more logical explanation of why this board exists. The public readiness for the truth was evident with their election of Trump. The public voted for the opposite of Obama. How much more ready can they be? And now they're straight up desperate for truth. So that reasoning doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
