SNOHOMISH, Wash. — The legal battle continues for a barbershop owner who defied Gov. Jay Inslee’s stay-at-home order.
This week, Bob Martin, owner of Stag Barber & Styling, received a cease-and-desist letter from the office of the Washington State Attorney General, who ordered the business’s immediate closure.
According to the letter, unless Martin followed the direction of Gov. Inslee, the Department of Licensing, and the Snohomish Health District, “we will have no choice but to file a lawsuit against you and seek monetary penalties. This is your final warning.”
On Thursday, KIRO 7 News found that Martin’s business was still in operation. \Additionally, Martin called for Gov. Inslee’s arrest.
“The governor is acting in sedition and treason against me and the American people, therefore I call on the arrest of the Governor for violating the sacred trust and the security of the American people,” Martin stated.
