Note Date of Patent: February 2014.

Note Assignee: International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY

Contract for SUMMIT machine awarded from DOE to IBM in November 2014.

SUMMIT is the world's most powerful supercomputer as of today.

Does PROJECT LOOKING GLASS simulate the world population?

Can user perform root cause analysis on simulation outcome, in order to identify required changes?

Can user forward-test changes to sim variables, in order to obtain desired outcome?

Q clearance from DOE?

Why did hackers recently hijack european supercomputers?

Why did they penetrate the user interfaces?

Did they really want to mine bitcoins as the press reports say?

Is CPU time and energy usage not meticulously accounted for on those expensive systems?

Were the hackers perhaps looking for user credentials instead?

Are user credentials sometimes (insecurely) reused across multiple systems?
