Spouseanon visited the Vatican a couple years ago. I just remembered to dig through the pics. Found a few interesting shots of this dark character and some very dark artwork.
Learned that the Crown of Sweden was abdicated by Christina in 1654 when she converted from Lutheranism to Catholicism. She is buried in the grotto. She never married and lived a wild lifestyle, was in debt to everyone, and spent time with 5 popes.
A few people were beheaded for calling her a Jezebel.
