I think it's fair to say that family Europe has a hand on the puppet strings of China - directly or indirectly. When have the British ever given up something without a fight (HK in this instance)?

My perspective is that family Europe has had the longest desire for, and strictly most to gain from China perfecting the operation of an authoritarian regime. The connections are there - rothschits + Mao, HK + UK,…

It also makes sense how Europe seems kinda gung-ho about getting Chinese equipment in their 5G networks.
