The question must be asked: do you make these just to make them or to be actually shared? There is no shame in making art for art's sake or like "night shift" graphics that aren't relevant anywhere but here. Many are beautiful, but mean nothing to anyone else.

Graphics made to be shared serve a purpose- if they are constructed poorly (test on the face, unreadable, crowded, wordy, confusing) they will not be shared and so the effort is wasted. Who would intentionally waste effort? What is the point in doing something that will never be shared and thus have no effect?

It is one or the other.

Constructive criticism is constructive.

The one who offers has no control over how it will be received, that is in the hands of the recipient alone.

Which leads back to the initial question - what is the purpose?
