Crew of Washington State based Coast Guard cutter tests NEGATIVE for China Virus
SEATTLE — The Coast Guard cutter Active is scheduled to return to its homeport of Port Angeles, Wash., on Tuesday after the entire crew tested negative for coronavirus, officials said.
All crew members aboard the cutter were tested for the virus after they took part in a counter-narcotics mission off Central America that led to the seizure of over 2,000 pounds of cocaine and the capture of three suspected smugglers who were later found to be infected with COVID-19.
