It looks like they are joking around. But they appear to be demonstrating a compression algorithm.
It encodes dirty photos as something nice.
When the recipient gets the file, they see a kitty. When they decompress it, they see the dirty.
Not a cryptofag, so I can't say if this is steganography. It appears to be compression.
So any files stored on a pizza parlor computer or politician's laptop might have to be decompressed using the right algo in order to see what's really there.
