Why is it that the demonrats were frothing at the mouth to 'unmask' General Flynn but are fanatics now about 'masking' healthy Americans?

If you are sick or working with the sick…go ahead, wear a mask. If you're a healthy - not sick - person, wearing a mask only advertises that you are part of the controlled herd and being used to attempt to instill fear in your friends and neighbors when fear is more of a killer than the china virus…and your compliance to the dictates of unelected bureaucrats and their non-Executive Branch minions in the demonrat party…and you look like an idiot, especially to those who know that the little 'not suitable for hospital use' ear-hook type of paper mask or the homemade cloth abominations are useless at stopping viruses and are not recommended for protection against viruses.

And Apple releases an update that will allow facial recognition to work while one is wearing a mask. They had the solution to "unmasking the masked" before the china virus was even released is my guess, otherwise [they] wouldn't allow or be so focused on masking. Would work for the most part if video was all that was being used to surveil us and the now exposed by Apple info that a solution already exists didn't in fact work, but the negatives far outweigh any 'forced to adjust socially' semi-positives.

It's still polishing a turd and far more negative and damaging to psychological and physical health than not wearing an identifier.

What is one of the greatest expenses for the self-styled "giants" of silicon valley? Rent/construction and upkeep of buildings. These companies lose a lot of money having to provide office space and electricity, water, sewage service and etc. Millions will be saved if they can con people to separate even further from society and even more when they start telling their employees - after the change of course - that due their reduced hours their pay will also be reduced and all medical/dental benefits that they enjoyed while employed 'on site' are no longer relevant as the employee is now more of a contractor and responsible for their own 'benefits.'

Doesn't matter if they flood red states or not…they are still going to be fckd!

I agree, wishful thinking on the part of Apple to ride the wave. Why would I have an iPhone? Terrible equipment that locks one into a universe of - as you note - non-modifiable and rapidly obsolete equipment.
