You can only make assumptions unless you have the entire scene of the office and its surroundings.

 

We don't know if anything in the office was spilled or down to indicate struggle. Not a clean job though if it was a murder.

 

Most likely scenario is that it wasn't premeditated but just the result of an outburst. Most likely an affair story and the girl wanted to tell wifey. Body was left there, lights left on, door open, indicates panic on behalf of the suspect. Girl most likely thrown down onto desk, head first.
