Netanyahu also addresses his remarks outside the court to reporters, in which he alleged that he was being framed.

“I think it was important. You know why? Because for the first time, Israel’s citizens heard the truth. What I said outside the courtroom was the truth. It’s time to tell the truth.”

He says he wants the trial broadcast live, “because I have nothing to hide, I want it all to be revealed.”

Activist hosted by PM was grilled on suspicion of inciting violence against AG

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hosted an activist who was questioned by police last week on suspicion of incitement to violence against the attorney general, Channel 12 reports.

The woman, Orly Lev, was among a handful of the prime minister’s supporters invited into the Prime Minister’s Residence on Sunday, after his corruption trial opened.

She is suspected of distributing the attorney general’s telephone number in WhatsApp groups, writing, “we must erase this smile.”

She also called Supreme Court President Esther Hayut “the biggest bitch judge in Israel,” the TV report says.

Lev, along with several others, was interrogated by police last week before being released to her home.

State Department scrutiny threatens Pompeo's political ambitions

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is facing a critical test with brewing scandals at the State Department that threaten to derail any future political ambitions.

Pompeo has proved to be one of President Trump’s most loyal lieutenants, surviving Democratic probes into the impeachment investigation, military confrontation with Iran and the coronavirus pandemic.

He was once considered a shoo-in to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kans.), an offer he officially passed on, and has been floated as a potential presidential candidate for 2024.

But the unfolding drama around his conduct at the State Department has given his critics new ammo as they look into whether he improperly used his position for political gain.

Among the controversies facing him is a Thursday report by The New York Times that Pompeo secretly met with high-profile Republican donors in Florida on the sidelines of an official State Department trip in January.

The secretary is also under scrutiny for hosting lavish dinners, funded by taxpayer dollars, that included business and conservative heavyweights more influential on domestic politics than foreign policy. The dinners were first reported by NBC News.

And Pompeo’s push for Trump to fire State Department Inspector General Steve Linick this month sparked outrage from Democrats, who said the internal watchdog was looking into at least two investigations involving the secretary and that his dismissal could amount to illegal political retaliation.

The probes were exploring whether Pompeo misused a political appointee for personal errands and what the secretary’s role was in Trump’s use of an emergency declaration to sell billions of dollars of weapons to Saudi Arabia without congressional authorization.

Pompeo reportedly pushed State Department officials to justify the president's issue of the declaration in May 2019, suggesting the decision to sell arms came first and the reasoning second, CNN reported Thursday.

Sen. Bob Menendez (N.J.), the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) have launched an investigation into Linick’s firing.

That effort was later bolstered by House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), who condemned Pompeo’s actions and called for Linick’s reinstatement.

Critics of Pompeo have often accused him of politicizing his role as the nation’s top diplomat, arguing his four terms as a Republican congressman from Kansas have influenced his approach to the Cabinet position.

He made four trips to Kansas last year, three on official State Department business, at a time when many thought he would run for the open Senate seat.

Social Isolation Increases Risk Of Heart Attack, Stroke, & Death From All Causes-

Social isolation is a word on the tip of everyone’s tongues these days. Staying away from others during this pandemic is keeping us safe, but a new study finds that prolonged social isolation is also quite dangerous.

Researchers warn that socially isolated people are over 40% more likely to suffer a heart attack, stroke, or other major cardiovascular event. Moreover, the socially isolated are nearly 50% more likely to die from any cause.

There was also an observed relationship between lack of financial support and increased cardiovascular risk.

The study was conducted by Dr. Janine Gronewold and Professor Dirk M. Hermann from the University Hospital in Essen, Germany. They analyzed data on 4,316 people (average age: 59 years old) who had been recruited for research between 2000 and 2003.

All of those participants initially had no known cardiovascular problems, and were tracked for an average of 13 years. Initially, each adult answered questions on their social support systems (marital status, number of close friends, memberships in various groups, clubs, organizations, etc).

“We have known for some time that feeling lonely or lacking contact with close friends and family can have an impact on your physical health”, Dr. Gronewold explains in a release. “What this study tells us is that having strong social relationships is of high importance for your heart health and similar to the role of classical protective factors such as having a healthy blood pressure, acceptable cholesterol levels, and a normal weight.”

Don't Buy the Misleading Figures. Here's the Real Story About How the U.S. Matches Up on Coronavirus Deaths

The sheer ease with which the American left has politicized the deaths of thousands of Americans has shocked even me. The United States is approaching 100,000 deaths and the left seems determined to make sure the public blames President Donald Trump for those deaths. As PJM’s Tyler O’Neil noted, the Democratic Coalition is trying to make “Trump Death Toll” a thing. While Tyler effectively demonstrated the absurdity of blaming these deaths on Trump, I’m going to show that despite the headlines that suggest things in the United States are the worst in the world, that is emphatically not the case.

First, let’s take a look at the total confirmed deaths of the ten worst-hit countries in descending order (based on the numbers from the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University as of 9:30 am ET May 24).

I’ve previously documented how the United States’ coronavirus numbers are skewed by downstate New York. Once you separate downstate New York from the rest of the United States, it jumps to the top (by a long shot), while the rest of the United States is at the bottom—barely edging out Switzerland.

It should be noted here that several countries are reportedly undercounting both cases and deaths, including Iran, China, and Russia. It’s very possible that the actual case and death numbers for these countries are much higher, possibly even putting them in the top ten, but without reliable data I can’t correct for this.

As usual, the media wants the public to believe that the situation in the United States is worse than anywhere else in order to make Trump look bad. The United States approaching 100,000 coronavirus deaths is a grim milestone to be sure, but these deaths should not be politicized. Trump’s response was quick and decisive, and likely saved thousands of lives.

Coronavirus Meat Shortage: Processing Plants Continue To Have Large Outbreaks

Continued outbreaks of coronavirus at meat processing plants across the U.S. has led to meat shortages in certain regions. The outbreak has been felt at grocery stores, where meat prices have reportedly increased by 3.3%, as well as fast-food chains, where there is limited supply.

“It is widely known that beef suppliers across North America are currently facing production challenges,” a Wendy’s spokesman said in a statement in early May. “Some of our menu items may be temporarily limited at some restaurants in this current environment.”

As reported by KPLC, an NBC affiliate in southwest Louisiana, restaurants are beginning to shut down or limit offerings as it becomes more and more difficult for them to obtain their product.

“I just cannot get brisket,” Paul Pettefer, owner of Paul’s Rib Shack in Lake Charles, Louisiana, told KPLC. “I can’t get ribs, I can’t get pork shoulder. I couldn’t get poultry some weeks.”

Elsewhere, in western Pennsylvania, Rowdy BBQ in Brentwood has been forced to temporarily raise its prices steeply in the face of meat shortages.

“Meat’s doubled in price, so we could have doubled our prices or taken the items off the menu,” owner Steve Klingslend told WPXI-TV. “So we sort of went in the middle and kept everything on the menu.”

In Los Angeles County, another major meat processing plant has become the latest site of a major COVID-19 outbreak. The Farmer John processing plant, owned by Smithfield Foods and famed for producing the legendary Dodger Stadium hot dogs, said it has seen at least 116 employees test positive for the novel coronavirus. Estimates put the actual number in the range of 140.

Several Rockets Launched By ISIS Target US-Operated Bagram Airfield In Afghanistan

On May 24 morning, a new rocket attack targeted the US-operated Bagram Airfield in the province of Parwan in Afghanistan’s eastern region.

In a statement released by its news agency, Amaq, ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. The terrorist group said its fighters launched five Katyusha rockets at the airfield. The term “Katyusha” is usually used by the group to refer to 107 mm rockets.

Afghan security forces quickly uncovered the improvised multiple rocket launcher used in the attack. The launcher was hidden in the trunk of a civilian car, that was completely destroyed. ISIS used the exact same tactic in a previous rocket attack on the Bagram Airfield.

The NATO’s Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan is yet to commented on the new attack. No losses were reported, however.

The Bagram Airfield is the largest U.S. military base in Afghanistan. The airfield hosts several units of the Resolute Support Mission and the Afghan Armed Forces (AAF).

ISIS cells intensified their rocket attacks on Bagram Airfield in the last few months. Thus far, the NATO and local forces have failed to neutralize the cells responsible for these attacks.

Horas Al-Din Religious Leader Warns Greater Idlib Jihadists From ‘International Agreements’

Horas al-Din’s senior Sharia official, Sami al-Oraydi, has warned of what he accepting “international agreements” by militant groups in Syria’s Greater Idlib.

In a video message titled “Makman Al-D’a” [the source of illness], al-Oraydi said Jihadi groups that seek international agreements or follow the promises of political leaders are no different from parties which use the democracy to achieve their goals.

“Dealing with infidels in war and peace, positive and negative should be subjected to Sharia standards and the complete obedience to God,” al-Oraydi said in the message that was released on May 24.

The commander added that Jihadists in Idlib shouldn’t make excuses for accepting international agreements calling this a “scheme.” He also warned that “obeying criminals and depending on the oppressors will not bring any good.”

This statement was likely aimed against Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which was approaching Turkey and attempting to hide its links with al-Qaeda. The group reportedly accepted a deal with Ankara that allowed to open the M4 highway.

In the last few months, tensions between Horas al-Din and HTS grew. The two groups were involved in several small-scale incidents.

Both Horas al-Din and HTS don’t appear to be interested in a full-on confrontation. However, HTS attempts to dominate Greater Idlib could eventually push it into the confllict with Horas al-Din. This would further destabilize both terrorist groups.

Mike Pence on Coronavirus: ‘China Let the World Down’

NORCROSS, Georgia — Vice President Mike Pence told Breitbart News exclusively that China “let the world down” on the coronavirus pandemic, and that the Trump administration is developing plans to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for its actions.

In an interview that aired on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel on this weekend, conducted here on Friday at Waffle House corporate headquarters outside Atlanta, Pence said that China and the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) hurt the world’s ability to prepare and respond to the pandemic by misleading and withholding “vital information.”

“China let the world down, and the World Health Organization was their willing partner in withholding from the United States and the wider world vital information about the coronavirus that would have made it possible for us to stand up a national response sooner,” Pence, the chairman of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, said. “It’s remarkable to think that China didn’t even let American CDC personnel in on the ground until mid-February to see what was going on.”

The W.H.O., in response to Pence’s comments in this Breitbart News exclusive interview, issued a lengthy statement to Newsweek.

“WHO works with 194 member states to promote health, China and the U.S. among them, to keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable,” W.H.O. said in response to Pence’s Breitbart News interview. “WHO’s work with China is identical to its work with any other member state. Moreover, its work with governments across the globe is science-based, with the aim of tackling disease outbreaks. WHO coordinates the international COVID-19 response in a transparent way and publishes on its website guidance, recommendations, reports and any other information that can help countries and individuals.”

The statement from W.H.O. continued:

WHO will initiate an independent evaluation at the earliest appropriate moment to review experience gained and lessons learned, and to make recommendations to improve national and global pandemic preparedness and response. We call on all nations to invest in strengthening and implementing the many tools at our disposal – especially the International Health Regulations. To be successful, we must all commit to mutual ownership and accountability. WHO is committed to constantly refining its actions. WHO undertakes internal operational reviews during emergencies, to course correct during the response, and after-action reviews to capture and build on lessons learnt during emergency responses.

Newsweek also noted that the Chinese embassy in Washington, DC, did not respond to Pence’s comments.

“The Chinese Embassy in Washington did not return Newsweek’s requests for comment before publication,” Newsweek wrote.

Pence in his exclusive interview added that President Donald Trump’s decision to ban travel from China to the United States in late January bought the U.S. time in standing up its response to the pandemic, but also that the United States is preparing actions to ensure China is “held accountable” for the coronavirus. Pence also said that the administration is going to push for major “reforms” at the W.H.O.

“The fact that the president suspended all travel from China at the end of January is a real testament to this president’s judgment. But make no mistake about it, China will be held accountable for what the world has gone through because of their lack of transparency. We’re going to continue to demand that the World Health Organization enact the kind of reforms going forward that if the world needs to know about any potential health threat, that we’ll know in the future,” Pence said.

Pence’s comments confirming that the United States will hold China accountable come just a week after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Breitbart News that President Trump is “committed” to holding China accountable for the pandemic.

In the WuhanGate 8 report we published a worldwide preview of the research of another French professor, Pierre Bricage who not only demonstrated the validity of the thesis of his colleagues in India on the traces of HIV in SARS-Cov-2 but added surprising analytical details thanks to his great experience in the head of molecular genetics that allowed him to become director of the Department of Biological Engineering of the University of Pau (Beaume, Pyrénées-Atlantiques) and lecturer also for NATO.

«This virus could not have emerged spontaneously by natural mutations and wild strains recombinations, it is a genetic chimaera with artificial insertions of modified genes, an engineered genome of a coronavirus within a capsid of a Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)» wrote in his study in which he elaborates a bio-chemical hypothesis so perfect in describing the different lethality of the current pandemic to reinvigorate the suspicion that the new CoronaVirus may be a bio-genetic weapon calibrated to target ethnic groups in a different way , as supported by authoritative experts.

«Isn’t it possible to make a coronavirus biomimetic of HIV? Isn’t it technologically possible to modify an ancestor of SARS-CoV-2 to produce a biomimeticcoronavirus of HIV so as to develop a potential AIDS vaccine (Du et al., 2009)?» Professor Bricage then mentions some research generically (with the exception of one which we will discuss separately because it is wrapped in a huge mystery).

Here, however, we will analyze in detail those where the so-called recombinant based on chimeric viruses created in the laboratory and therefore called SARS-Like, all initialed SL, appears, always starting from the experiments conducted in 2007 in Wuhan thanks to funds from the European Commission. The text of the study “Difference in Receptor Usage between Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) Coronavirus and SARS-Like Coronavirus of Bat Origin” is proof of disbelief …

«We cloned and expressed the bat R. pearsonii ACE2 gene and examined the abilities of ACE2 proteins from human, palm civet, and R. pearsonii to support infection by HIV-based pseudoviruses containing different S protein constructs. Our results indicated that the bat SL-CoV (Rp3) S protein is unable to use ACE2 for cell entry regardless of the origin of the ACE2 molecule. We also demonstrated that the human SARS-CoV S cannot use bat RpACE2 as a functional receptor. On the other hand, we demonstrated that after replacement of a small segment (aa 310 to 518) of Rp3-S by the cognate sequence of BJ01-S, the CS protein mimics the function of BJ01-S in regard to receptor usage in the HIV pseudovirus assay system ».

In the end I discovered that many secrets of molecular biology are in the notes under the heading Materials and Methods: the «HIV-based pseudoviruses were prepared as described previously (37)» reads a link that takes us back in time to the capital of the China.

The research is from 2005 and titled “Identification of Two Critical Amino Acid Residues of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus Spike Protein for Its Variation in Zoonotic Tropism Transition via a Double Substitution Strategy” and we mention only an example passage.

Let’s go back for a moment to SARS-Cov-2, the 2020 killer described by meticulous Professor Bricage in reference to the sequences that he Montagnier and the Kuzuma School of Biology have identified as HIV: «None of these 4 inserts may result from a random single-point mutation. This type of mutation usually affects only 1 amino acid and not a defined protein pattern (a series of specifically changed amino acids). A point mutation can also cause a shift in the reading frame, but this usually results in a non-functional protein».

6 – OTHER RESEARCHES BY WUHAN WITH THE AIDS PATHOGEN

In 2009, however, the Wuhan Institue of Virology again published the study “Immunogenicity difference between the SARS coronavirus and the bat SARS-like coronavirus spike (S) proteins” in wich «the immunogenicity of the SL-CoV S protein (S(SL)) was studied and compared with that of SARS-CoV (S(SARS)). DNA immunization in mice with S(SL) elicited a high titer of antibodies against HIV-pseudotyped S(SL). The sera had low cross-reactivity, but no neutralization activity, for the HIV-pseudotyped S(SARS)».

Another research similar even in the title “Immunogenicity of the spike glycoprotein of bat SARS-like coronavirus” was also published in February 2010 and was directed like all the others by Shi Zhengli, the head of the Center for Research on Infectious Diseases, not surprisingly nicknamed “Bat Woman” in China.

«To gain insight into the basis of this difference, we established a recombinant adenovirus system expressing the S protein from SL-CoV (rAd-Rp3-S) to investigate its immune characterization. Our results showed that immunized mice generated strong humoral immune responses against the SL-CoV S protein. Moreover, a strong cellular immune response demonstrated by elevated IFN-γ and IL-6 levels was also observed in these mice. However, the induced antibody from these mice had weaker cross-reaction with the SARS-CoV S protein, and did not neutralize HIV pseudotyped with SARS-CoV S protein» we read on papers.
