After about 40 minutes of opening statements and breaks while protesters were being escorted out (it was quite raucous) Chairman Grassley started the first questioning.
Sen. Grassley spoke about how much Jeff was complaining, during the campaign, about Hillary Clinton's emails and the Clinton Foundation then asked Jeff what will he do about it if he in confirmed?
Sessions immediately said: I will recuse myself from all things Clinton. Chuck Grassley's jaw dropped, as did anon's. Grassley was taken aback and had Jeff explain it. Jeff said it would be improper for him because of he was a member of the campaign team.
President Trump knew before he was confirmed that his A.G. had recused himself on all things Clinton.
