The state is always in opposition to the liberty of the people. They promise "safety" and "welfare" and what amounts to a risk-free utopia that is impossible to deliver. By this means they control the people. Unless or until people wake up to this deceit and exercise responsibility for their own lives, do their own risk-assessments, reject cradle-to-grave welfarism in favour of self-help, they will keep electing governments that promise everything and deliver nothing except loss of liberty.

As Q said, sometimes it's not enough to TELL people, they have to be SHOWN what loss of liberty looks and feels like before they wake up to an encroaching authoritarian state.

There's only so much Q and POTUS can do. They can re-establish the rule of law and blind justice (but only by always acting within the law) and they can expose those in authority who are corrupt. But only the people can take back the power that they have ceded to the state - the state cannot and will not do that for them. The people must become actively involved in preserving the liberty granted to them by the Constitution. They must police their representatives at local and federal level. They must be actively involved in choosing candidates and representatives across all areas of government and the judiciary and men and women of integrity must stand for office and expose the charlatans who enter politics solely for the purpose of self-enrichment. All of this has to be done by the people - it cannot be done TO them.
