I have recreated this effect in a cup of coffee with using almond milk for creamer.
The almond milk does not mix with the coffee to form a homogeneous solution.
The milk separates and when swirling I could see the flow patters.
There is a certain point when a hexagram appears.
When I saw it happen, I immediately related it to the swirling storm producing the hexagram on Saturn.
