Actually, that works very well to discredit real research. Good info is ignored because it comes from 8chan. The most popular meme on the internet got turned into a firing offense at many workplaces because it was associated with Nazism.
Spamming also lowers the signal to noise ratio and is bad for the threads for that reason alone.
