I am pretty certain I heard Tom Fitton saying they were having trouble with FOIA requests due to muh corona issues… how did they get this info so quickly?

IMHO no, nothing worse is coming, they thought they could scare us to death / submission with this BS.
I'm guessing this whole thing is more about laundering tax money into politicians and their friends pockets than anything else.

It's all about the money. I was watching Fox News the other day and I think it was Dana said she and her family took tests at $30 a pop.
Add that up, they are pushing "everybody gets a test(s). We are a population of what 350 million +??? at $30 a piece……… nice pile of dough you get at the end of the rainbow right?

I also am taking some sadistic glee in the thought that over the last few years especially last year when the NPC meme was raging and libbies were losing the heads about "it's dehumanizing" etc that this year they all wear masks and essentially have turned themselves into living NPC's with no face - totally dehumanized.
Hopefully these people were smart enough to leave their tracking units er I mean their phones at home so they can't actually enforce this crap.
