Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is famous for her tyrannical rule, her blind ambition, her audacious behavior and her ignorance.

In March crazed Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer prohibited big box retailers from in-person sale of seeds because according to her, plant seeds were non-essential.

Whitmer also called on Home Depot and Lowes to close off certain sections like flooring, garden centers and plant nurseries.

The tyrannical governor of Michigan also barred grocery stores and brick-and-mortar retailers from selling vegetable seeds because she could.

In late March Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer limited access of doctors from prescribing the lifesaving drugs hydroxychloroquine and Z-Paks to save senior citizens in the state from Coronavirus. Then she continued to send coronavirus patients to nursing homes. This is still happening in May!

And in the far left governor banned motorboats and jet skis but canoes and sailboats were acceptable.

This woman is a crackpot.

On Friday an employee at a dock in northern Michigan shared an interesting story about a phone call with Gretchen Whitmer’s husband.

This was just days after Whitmer finally lifted her nonsensical ban on motorboating.

WHitmer’s husband used his wife’s name to hopefully jump in line at the North Shore Dock, and get their boat in the water before the common rubes who also use the company for their boat and dock services.

Whitmer then went on to complain about how she is the real victim and her daughter had to sacrifice her senior year festivities.

Meanwhile Whitmer says nothing about the business owners who went broke and lost their life’s savings.

In the United States, progressive groups and lawmakers rightly concerned about the rise of far right online activity, and attempts by state actors to manipulate elections, have increasingly turned to calls for Internet censorship, deplatforming, and more aggressive moderation by companies like Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.

These calls are well intentioned but ultimately misguided.

These comments come just hours after controversy was exposed about the sudden and purely coincidental deletion of numerous Hong Kong dissident Twitter accounts after Li Fei-Fei was appointed to Twitter's board.

Afghan Government Releases 900 Taliban Prisoners as Part of Eid Ceasefire

Some 900 Taliban* prisoners were released across Afghanistan on Tuesday as part of the pledge made by President Ashraf Ghani to mark Eid, the holiday ending the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, the Afghan National Security Council's head of program on prisoners exchange said in a statement.

"Today, around 900 Taliban* prisoners are being released across Afghanistan in accordance with the president's decree to bring lasting peace. Exact figures will be released later in the evening", Intizar Khadim's statement read. The official went on to calling it a "historic day" for Afghanistan.

According to the National Security Council's spokesman Javid Faisal, as cited in a report by the TOLO news agency, the released prisoners were mainly from the Pul-e-Charkhi prison in Kabul and the Bagram prison in the central Afghan province of Parwan.

"The number will reach 2,000, but what remains is related to the Taliban," Faisal said, adding that "the continuance of violence by the Taliban will not help the peace process".

Earlier in the day, the Afghan government confirmed readiness to extend the ceasefire beyond the three Eid days and called upon the Taliban* to do the same in a bid to facilitate the exchange of prisoners per earlier commitments.

On 23 May, the Taliban announced they would cease fire for three days during Eid beginning the next day. The Afghan government concurred, with Ghani pledging to release 2,000 Taliban prisoners on this occasion.

The exchange of prisoners, ceasefire, and launch of intra-Afghan talks — as components of a peace deal negotiated with the mediation of the United States earlier this year — are expected to pave the way for ending the almost two-decade-long confrontation between Kabul and the Taliban*.

Moscow DENIES US general’s claim of ‘Russian mercenary jets in Libya’. Is this AFRICOM’s new ‘worse than ISIS’ moment?

Reports of repainted Russian fighter jets being sent to bomb Libya have nothing to do with reality, Moscow said in response to the latest sensational claims by US Africa Command about alleged Russian involvement in the region.

The accusation that Russia sent combat aircraft to Libya “does not correspond to reality,” Andrey Krasov, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, told Interfax on Tuesday.

“Russia's position is well known: we are in favor of ending the bloodshed in Libya, we urge all parties to the conflict to refrain from using weapons and sit at the negotiating table,” Krasov added.

Krasov was addressing the claims by AFRICOM earlier in the day, featuring a series of grainy photos of MiG and Sukhoi fighters and a claim by General Charles Townsend that they “watched as Russia flew fourth generation jet fighters to Libya – every step of the way.”

The AFRICOM press release that quoted Townsend, however, was far more cautious about the claim, saying instead that they “assessed” the planes were recently deployed to Libya in support of Wagner Group private military contractors, and are “likely” to provide close air support. Likewise, “it is assessed” that the planes came from Russia via Syria, where they were “repainted to camouflage their Russian origin.”

Townsend’s own follow-up to the “we watched” claim is likewise a qualification, as he says neither the Libyan National Army nor private companies “can arm, operate and sustain these fighters without state support – support they are getting from Russia.”

AFRICOM did not specify how allegedly repainting very distinctive planes would camouflage their origin, or offer any evidence for their assessments.

Fathi Bashagha, a minister in the Tripoli-based government of national accord (GNA) – which is fighting the LNA for control of Libya – claimed last week in an interview with Bloomberg that “at least six MiG 29s and two Sukhoi Su-24s” arrived in Libya from the Khmeimim air base in Syria, where the Russian expeditionary force is based.

The document ultimately came to the conclusion that the only way to mitigate a global pandemic was by implementing China’s hardcore authoritarian police state lockdown as the model worldwide.
