In addition to its nonspecific effect on host defenses against infection, serrapeptase was recently shown to exert antiviral effects by digesting proteins that coat the virus.

Since this enzyme is known to break down the protein by-products of blood coagulation (fibrin), it is being studied for its ability to dissolve atherosclerotic plaques without causing harm to arteries or any other side effects of the drugs currently being used.

In Japan, serrapeptase is proposed as a treatment and/or preventative for a variety of viral diseases such as AIDS and hepatitis C and B. Other studies are looking at this “miracle enzyme” (named such by esteemed German internist Dr. Hans Nieper) for a number of cancer treatments.

(OK, so if Chloroquine stops autophagy - there might be some problems created by the build up of dead junk in the body. Chloroquine makes it tricky for viruses to use autophagy to create new viruses, but the dead junk is just sitting around. Serrapeptase might very well knock those dead proteins out, knock blood clots out. Yesterday there was a post about autopsies performed in Italy that showed a lot of blood clots in people who dies of covid. Maybe if all Serrapeptase was able to do was get rid of blood clots, that would cut down on the number of deaths, if blood clots were causing deaths)
