What studies show the “evolution of the virus in bats”?

 

Seriously? Where is he getting this information? I think he is full of shit. If he has evidence that this virus evolved in bats, then why doesn’t he provide it? Why isn’t he providing it? The path that this study is leading down shows china to be at a minimum, careless/reckless, at maximum - essentially an act of war.

 

Serious repercussions for both. So if Fauci is saying that this is all nonsense, that the virus evolved in bats to its current form, why not show the research so we don’t blame china for a naturally occurring virus that was unfortunate enough to affect the whole world?

 

I think he knows. I think he is full of shit. IF he had the evidence to back up his claims, he could have easily proven his point and given himself a great amount of credibility by producing said research. But instead, he just keeps saying this with nothing to back up his claims thinking we will just take his word for it.

Why does Fauci keep saying it’s a “natural virus”?

 

The Wuhan lab worked with naturally occurring viruses.

 

“ But the Obama administration specifically let other research continue. The language is technical, but the key word is "naturally."

 

"The funding pause will not apply to the characterization or testing of naturally occurring influenza, MERS, and SARS viruses unless there is a reasonable expectation that these tests would increase transmissibility or pathogenicity," the Oct. 17 policy said.

 

The Wuhan virus was originally a “naturally occurring virus” that they manipulated to be more transmissible or pathogenic as these rules and limitations only applied to the funding of labs within the US.

 

I think Obama had this research moved overseas to allow explicitly less oversight over the manipulation of these viruses.

The “naturally occurring viruses” wording was used to secure funding, being outside the US secured the ability to manipulate the viruses without the limitations placed on US labs.
