I frequenty think "This life is short, the next is forever, and judgement belongs to God alone, so I should just pray for other people in general."
But there sure is alot of evil that takes place between now and then. I'm starting to wonder if it's up to God's people to be responsible for keeping the evil from growing out of crontrol, instead of waiting for Him to do it.
But.. then I imagine, how could I respect anyone else who claims that, if they have a different belief system than me and think they are God's judgement in the world with the right to crush people who don't agree with them. And why would anyone else think I'm right if I believe I have the authority to judge and crush people who don't live up to my values. Anyway… but yeah, if somone literally enslaves and tortures other people for their own pleasure, and makes a living out of bragging about it, then there is no question that person is evil and something should be done.
