I think you missed the point Anon.

 

I posted about the curling still being on (was notable) the they cancelled it after all the teams were already there (was being played in Northern BC). That Anon cried out in pain.

 

Not sure it matters. Anons loved their curlers after that.

It was a glorious evening.

 

I have always loved the curling. Is a great sport to watch on tv. Not as good live though in person. Unless you hang out in the brier patch (bar).

I remember Anon.

 

I was the one posting about the curling when you responded. Knew it was BS because even Team Canada was there (they are from my home town and I knew they had already left). Curling involves practice time before the event to get used to the ice. Everyone was already there and interacting.

 

It was a terrible decision to cancel as they could have been the only sport on television. Part of the shut down/ fear mentality.
