The morning of the SH shooting, there was a "military style dressed" man in the woods outside of the school that police caught and had handcuffed and brought into the fire house next to the school and he was on the floor looking the parents in the eyes saying "I didn't do it!" VIDEO ATTACHED

His name was Chris Manfredonia

Peter Manfredonia, UConn senior wanted in two killings, is caught in Maryland; Connecticut detective catches him during foot chase

 

 

A multi-state manhunt for Peter Manfredonia, a 23-year-old Newtown man wanted for two homicides in Connecticut, ended Wednesday night in Hagerstown, Md., when a Connecticut state police detective caught him during a foot chase and took him into custody at gunpoint.

 

He was captured about 9 p.m. Wednesday by Det. Mike Zella. No shots were fired and no one was injured.

 

Manfredonia was spotted walking near a truck stop when officers closed in.

 

A lawyer for Manfredonia’s family, Michael Dolan of Hamden, said he was told something different by police, that Manfredonia turned himself in without incident.
