The new 'feature' that let's people disallow replies is, I think, meant to curb the effect of our memes.
Simplistic scenario that does not translate to what POTUS is facing down. It's not about 10 people committing the same crime at the same time, it's 1,000s of people who have committed some crimes together, some separately, and some different crimes between them.
It seems to me that Zuckerberg sniping at twitter in saying "platforms shouldn't be the arbiter of truth of everything people say online" walked right into a very obvious trap. fb constantly shutting down any group who doesn't toe the WHO line on CV, b/c they say it's "misinformation."
Irony.
