Don't need to root it. Runs Linux, Windows 10 ARM edition, RISC OS 5, Plan 9, FreeBSD, NetBSD, etc. etc. Mesa GL support thanks to Eric Anholt. With Box86 you can run some Intel Linux games. Nowhere near as powerful as an Intel board but what I use computers for these days this suits me fine.
