Only when you don't understand your guidance system. We have a GPS inside that is tuned to God. Here's how it works:

You type in the destination which happen when you identify the prayer you want answered. Now you get step by step directions of how to remain on the highlighted route by the way the thoughts you think FEEL. Optimistic, hopeful thoughts ALWAYS beel better than fear/doubt/anger/frustration thoughts. The negative emotions do not feel good. They stem from THOUGHTS that you are having. So.. since Faith is believing BEFORE you see it..you have to stay on the trail of the better feeling (faith based) thoughts. So the GPD guides you every step along the way because at any point in time you know what you are feeling and God/Faith ALWAYS feels good. The end destination is the answered prayer and the way you can trust it is by how it feels to think of the prayer being answered versus the fear based thoughts that it won't happen. "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." Mark 11:24. Faith is hard when you don't understand you have guidance. Prayers are answered before we utter them because they shoot forth from our hearts and God is one with our hearts. It's the mind that makes things muddy/distorted. But if you foolow "magelan's" step by step guidance and you trust the thoughts that bring you relief or soothe you then GOD WILL NOT FAIL. Only man can fail by not having faith and then they say, "God didn't answer my prayer." When you realize you are in control of how you choose to react to conditions around you, you can maintain your connection to God (unconditional love) based on choosing the thoughts that feel better and TRUSTING that's the path. It's not blind faith.. it's guided and I promise you we were born with that GPS for a reason and once you find it, you will always know what's going on. Some negative thoughts/belief are very subtle.. sometimes we dont even realize we are doubting because what our eyes and ears can see looks sooo real but nothing is impossible to God. It is God's promise to us that when we step out and truly trust and have faith, He will not and cannot let us down by His own law. It is solid. You can trust it. Perfect faith:guaranteed, no doubts about it. If you are scared to fully surrender and trust then you are in the way and God can't move. The eyes can deceive but not the heart. The heart when aligned always feel like peace or joy or love..all the positive emotions come from God..the negative come from pinching off based on thoughts you choose to have. It's eeeeeeasy.
