Twitter posts state that Buckingham Palace family crest had been removed from the gate, the windows are boarded up and the regular palace guards are not guarding.

Is any of this accurate and if so is it beyond the scope of normal for repair or certain expected events?

Any UK anons here that can give an accurate report as to what is really going on?
