Peaceful protest planned in Seattle this weekend after George Floyd's death

They’re tired of just talking about it and posting about it on social media.

Pastor Jamaal Cole and community activist Andrè Taylor said it’s time to hit the streets.

“Something in my spirit said you cannot be silent,” said Cole, who leads Greater Gospel Center Church.

The men helped organize “The Defiant Walk of Resistance Against Police Brutality” event Saturday at 3 p.m.

Hundreds of people are expected to march from Seattle’s Westlake Center to the Federal Court House and back.

“We are not allowing any violence,” Taylor said.

For now, police said no Seattle streets will be shut down during this march.

Everyone is being asked to wear masks and gloves to practice safe social distancing.
