Here is my problem with the crashes and statistics. There are rashes. If an uptick in training an operations happens, then statistically accicents will also go up. hey will DEFINITELY go up if there is a lack of parts and experience of which there is right now, both. The Mil was gutted. Parts availability and old aircraft are the norm. We used to mock the Russians for this, but the previous Admin tried very hard to weaken us from within. Additionally they drew down in force, threw out a bunch of "old" or experienced people under a riffing system, and used cost saving like internet based electronic training and simulators, vs real flight time and related maintenance as "cosst savings". If we have moved BACK into a real training environment, we will now have more crashes.
So it it a war? Yes, but it was one started 10 years ago. And we are seing some of the fruits of their labor.
Are there substandard parts? You betcha. I have personally had to trade out three or four timjes the same components for early failure. Were they made in China? No. A lot were rewirked right here inthe gold old USA by lazy boeing employees, over and over again. or subcontractors. (Especially because we went to a corporate contract environment and did away with good military rework facilities and intermediate part refurbishment)
Could it be intentional? Perhaps but you are looking at two different manfactures. Find me a part that is made by the same place for all these different air frames. I am not being sarcastic. Find the actual commonalities for a smoking gun. Otherwise some of these Kook theories like FM and their crowd are just pissing in the wind. What is common is lack of parts, lack of real training and lack of experience on old air-frames.
