I'm at my wits end..

How do you guys push back on those saying that we shouldn't be complaining about rioting/looting because "the Boston tea party was looting" or "rioting led to free speech, 8 hr work days, ect."

It hasn't stopped people from attempting to justify the rioting and looting/destruction of innocent people's property.

IS it justified?

The Boston Tea party was directed at the aggressor responsible for the unrest.

But does directing unrest at those NOT responsible become a plausible way to instigate change? Has it been in the past?

It seems so hypocritical to attempt to justify it. They sure as hell wouldn't be cool with looters trashing their shit so they "can be heard."
