yes Jimmy Iovine, Interscope. Been digging on this too. I had watched that HBO show about Dre/Iovine a while back, need to rewatch it.

Some things I found on Iovine.

Iovine attended Catholic school in Brooklyn and went onto attend New York's John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Iovine went on to marry Vicki McCarty, an attorney and Playboy model

>playboy you say

In February 14, 2016, Iovine married the British model-actress Liberty Ross in a star-studded ceremony at David Geffen's Beverly Hills mansion. Guests included Oprah, Tom Hanks, Lady Gaga and Pharrell Williams.

>this gets interesting, so this Liberty Ross name was to perfect, opposite land right, so this just happens to be her grandpop

>Liberty Lettice Lark Ross, 2nd wife, Grandfather was Miles Lampson, 1st Baron Killearn 24 August 1880 – 18 September 1964) was a >British diplomat. Member of Order of St Michael and St George, Order of the Bath, Royal Victorian Order, Privy Council of the >United Kingdom

>so he married into brittish roaylty.

other notables

Iovine executive produced the 2009 LeBron James documentary More than a Game.

>I've always questioned this guy, all to perfect, never injured, personality of a wet rag, I digress.

Interscope Records

>pedo symbol on the logo.

Marilyn Manson

Lady Gaga

Dr Dre

50 cent

Kendrick Lamar,

Anderson .Paak

Jon Connor.

>lots of clowns on this list.

But there was controversy. In May 1995 the US Senate majority leader and presidential candidate Bob Dole accused Interscope of releasing hip-hop music that glorified violence. "Must you debase our nation and threaten our children for the sake of corporate profits?" said Dole about Time-Warner, which had a partnership with Interscope. "Anyone who thinks this is not about racism is being very naive," Iovine told the LA Times.

>wow Bob Dole, maybe just adding to there appeal by going after them, kids ate that shit up back then, I remember.

The link with Apple was a huge factor in Beats success — but there was also the cultural cachet of Dre's name, plus an aggressive campaign of product placement in music videos, and celebrity endorsements from the likes of Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and LeBron James. By fall 2013, Beats Electronics was valued at more than $1 billion.

In 2013 they donated $70 million to create the Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation. The institution is based at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and offers a special four-year program to undergraduates, which spans three areas: art and design, engineering and computer science, and business and venture management.

>so much to dig on this, just starting, not my area of expertise. I know Philanthropy is huge money laundering scheme, and usually shady as fuck, surprised its not middle school, he must like em 18-21.

Wish i had more, Ill keep digging, damn back has been killing me can't sit for to long at a time.
