Maybe Minnesota (all states?) should use an electoral college system based on the counties?
Right now, smaller counties have NO vote. Under an electoral college arrangement, they would have a minimum number of votes and more based on population or, maybe, margin of victory for the top ballot nominee.
There has to be some arrangement that is more fair than currently exists where the agricultural counties get shut out entirely, despite the wealth they represent.
