Corporate charters are supposed to be used for large projects that help the people, to limit liability for the individuals involved. So you can build the hoover dam, a project no one person/company could do, due to the liability. Hence the name, Limited Liability Company. LLC.
If WE THE PEOPLE hold the liability, we can get awesome things done/built. But in those cases a corporate charter should imply that if WE are holding the bag, then WE are calling the shots, WE are making some of the profits AND WE ARE JAILING anyone who fucks around.
